Standup Zone Forum discusses Puka Patch

“I have a very minor ding just above the mid portion of the rail on the right front of my brand new board. Thank you Fed Ex. It is a small crack in the paint, which is slightly about 2 /12 inches long. A small chip of paint is pressed in a tiny amount. Once cleaned up, it is barely noticeable from a few feet away. I did a little research and found Puka Patch is an alternative repair method that might work. It is essentially a buffing pad and clear specialized adhesive tape. In this instance, it might make sense to use, rather than go the epoxy repair and try to match the paint route. I ordered some, but any advice is appreciated. They claim a watertight seal and expect it to last the like for the board.”
