My name is Cannon Cribb. I am 9yrs old & live in Currumbin on the Gold Coast of Australia, I was born on Oahu, Hawaii. I like getting barrelled, doing layback snaps & trying airs. I like to skate & I like to hang with my family.

How did you get started surfing? – Dad took me on a tandem board in Kahana Bay on Oahu when I was 6mths old, a couple years later he started pushing me into Haleiwa, then Snapper & everything went from there.

Where are your favorite breaks? – Anywhere fun that’s not crowded.

Who are your favorite surfers? – Dad, Filipe Toledo, Kelly Slater, John John Florence.

Why do you use Puka Patch? – Cause they are the best ding repair to quickly get me back in the water & stop’s water from ruining my board.

Huntington Beach Pro Grand Slam

The Huntington Beach Pro Grand Slam will be the final leg of the US Trilogy for racing, but also host stop 3 on the 2013 Stand Up World Tour, just south of the Pier in Surf City USA from the 17th – 22nd September.

With the Surfing running from Tuesday 17th through Friday 20th September, inclusive of an Open Trials event and the prestigious 48 man Main event, the World Series will then open for business on Friday 20th evening, with Sprint Racing on the Saturday 21st and Long Distance on the Sunday 22nd.

Also taking place on Sunday morning will be a high profile ‘Big Move’ Surf event, providing entertainment for all the spectators on site and online, but also another incentive for the World’s best to battle it out on the water.

So a very complete event for stop 3 of the USA Trilogy, capping an incredible US mainland series, before the World Series returns home to Turtle Bay from the 11th – 13th October for the climactic Final event of the year.

America’s Cup

Stop 2 of the US Trilogy will head to San Francisco in Northern California to be a part of one of Sailings most prestigious and most publicized events: the America’s Cup.

From the 31st August to the 2nd September, the world’s best will battle it out in front of the grand stand of the America’s Cup Sailing Championships for the ‘America’s Cup’ of Stand Up Paddling. Paddle power will replace the giant sail power and boards, the multi hull design of the America’s Cup vessels in the creation of a dynamic platform for the world’s best and an incredible showcase for the sport in front of an unprecedentedly large audience.
This new event replaces the originally planned Maui Summer event as an official stop on the 2013 Stand Up World Series.
